The Rural Poland Conferences have been organized by the National Association of Village Leaders since 2011. We discussed important topics such as the village fund, entrepreneurship or the role of women in the countryside. Since 2018, this event has been linked to the Citizens’ Dialogue of the European Commission.
These meetings were held, among others, with the participation of Jerzy Plewa – Director General of the Directorate General of the European Commission for Agriculture and Rural Development.
In 2020, we would like to take up the topic of rural development opportunities in Poland in the context of community cooperation.
The speakers will include: Janusz Wojciechowski – European Union Commissioner for Agriculture, Jerzy Buzek – MEP, Iwona Nurzyńska – Institute of Rural and Agricultural Development of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Wiktor Szmulewicz – President of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers More information about the conference can be found at www .kss.org.pl
